We started plaid review with three goals in mind. First, to provide a free and available venue in which to showcase emerging artists & writers.
Second, to engage in a dialogue that attempts to explore the creative process and its intimate relationship with what we would describe as the "non-creative process."
Finally, we were interested in providing a space where visual art and text could co-exist.
Admittedly we have a ways to go before any of us would feel comfortable describing the goals as realized. But we know that we are headed in the right direction.
